On April 6, 2016 Tillamook Fire District lost long-time Assistant Chief Mike Ellerbroek after a long battle with cancer. Chief Ellerbroek had been a member of the fire-service for more than forty-three years giving an enormous amount of time and energy in serving his community. Chief Ellerbroek joined what was then the Tillamook Fire Department in 1973 working his way up to the rank of Assistant Chief in 1995 with Tillamook Fire District.

channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Tillamook Fire District
